At CareForBrains we are dedicated to our mission of promoting mental well-being and furthering the knowledge of our members. In line with these goals we have created CareForBrains: STEM Internship, a program where you will learn about the basics of STEM and how they connect to mental health.
Four pillars of STEM, each explored through the lens of mental health and well-being.
Students investigate how stress, mindfulness, and happiness affect brain chemistry and function, building a strong foundation in the science of mental health.
Students explore how AI and cybersecurity work, and how these tools are increasingly used to monitor, protect, and improve mental well-being.
Students learn sketching and 3D modeling with Fusion 360, using design thinking to create innovations that could support mental health.
Students discover how patterns, probability, and mathematical reasoning help bring clarity to mental health issues and emotional complexity.
